Description
Stress is something that affects most people's lives at some stage. It is the body's natural reaction to dealing with situations that make us feel threatened or under pressure.
When we are stressed, our body releases a hormone called adrenaline (which often called the "fight or flight" hormone), which usually gives us a boost or motivates us to act quickly.
But when we have too much stress it can affect our mood, our body and our relationships – especially when it feels that the situation is out of our control. It can make us feel anxious and irritable, and affect our self-esteem.
